Can you tell I had fun with this?

We celebrated our first month with ice cream cake, barbecue chips, and bubbles.
We survived, I say. We made it a month. We kiss and blow bubbles.
One month down, forever to go.
So what’s the worst thing about being married? Mom asks over a game of trains. Dad smiles and rolls his eyes. Mom bursts out laughing.
I grin and try to think of something clever to say, but get distracted when it’s my turn.
I write articles for a living.
And sell sandwiches on the weekends.
Maxwell said, “There are two kinds of stress. One is me-stress. The other is what Anne has.”
I wasn’t there to hear it.
Another body is around me 24/7.
I recognize I am crazier than I thought.
I walk around the room.
I say, “Sorry, what? What was that? What did you say?” and disappear again.
